Slash or Saul Hudson born July 23 of 1965 in Hampstead, London, England. He is a Musician, songwriter, record producer, film producer and actor. Since 1981 he dominates Guitar, bass and banjo. For many he is the best guitar player of all time.
Son of Matt Sorum (producer) and Ola Hudson (figurinist), he moved to Los Angeles, California, United States of America at age 11. After meeting guitarist Tracii Guns in a store where he worked, shortly after they met Axl Rose. At the time Slash and Tracii wanted to enter as a solo guitarist in Guns. Slash was chosen because three days before a show Tracii quit. For that reason abandoned the Tidus Sloan (their garage band). He left Guns N 'Roses in 1996, from not having a good relationship with Axl Rose.
In 2002, Slash formed Velvet Revolver, along with Duff, Matt and Scott Weiland. In 2010, Slash released his first solo album, called Slash with the participation of different singers as Fergie (Black Eyed Peas), M. Shadows (Avenged Sevenfold), Dave Grohl (Foo Fighters) Chris Cornell (Soundgarden), Lemmy Kilmister (Motörhead), Iggy Pop, Ozzy Osbourne, Kid Rock, in addition to his former band mates: Steven Adler, Izzy Stradlin and Duff McKagan.
Slash has been married twice, first marriage to Renee Suran, and the second with Perla Ferrer, the mother of his two sons, London and Cash.
Curiosities
•Slash owns over 100 guitars. His first guitar was a Memphis Les Paul model;
•His favorite guitar is a 1987 Les Paul Standard (she had her arm broken in two places, but Les Paul, creator of the Gibson made repairs and Slash continued to use it);
•The makers of Guitar Hero invited him to join one of its versions, Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock. ( He favorite guitar was also the basis for the instrument of his character in the game);
•The aforementioned 1959 Les Paul Standard was given to him during the recording sessions for the first album from Guns N 'Roses, "Appetite for Destruction." He used this guitar on all albums he recorded with Guns N 'Roses and Velvet Revolver;
•Slash was the first musician to have an amplifier, created by Marshall for him;
•He earned the nickname Slash for always being rushed;
•Slash was given his first guitar from his grandmother when he was 11 years;
•On a flight from Los Angeles to London Slash drunk, just put fire on the seat of the plane and almost burned the rear;
•Slash has several snakes. As he leaves the breed, the number always varies;
•Slash made an audition for the band Posion in 1983 and was rejected for being too "ugly";
